Hi everyone,
I run a few YouTube channels and started posting short videos on them. Each one usually gets around 6k to 11k views, and I’ve been getting some new subscribers too.
But when I upload a longer video, it gets almost no views—maybe 0, or sometimes just 2 to 11 views at best!
So now I’m wondering if it’s not a good idea to mix short videos and long videos on the same channel, especially if you want to grow with longer content later. Maybe the people who follow from shorts only like quick videos, so when a long one comes out, they don’t watch it. Then YouTube might think the video isn’t good and stop showing it to more people.
Does anyone else feel this way? Or is there another reason for this?
