My experiment: I used an old LinkedIn account with 400+ connections, which had many articles about SEO and digital marketing.
I created 4 posts:
Results: The local keyword posts did well, ranking at positions 2 and 5 and staying stable. The "best funnel builder software" post has stayed at position 1 for weeks. The others are ranking in the 40s.
I found this interesting and now wonder if LinkedIn Pulse gives a topical authority boost. Does Google see it that way? Or is it just a coincidence that a LinkedIn profile focused on digital marketing performs better than a Pulse article on other established marketing blogs?
What do you guys think?
I created 4 posts:
- Two with local keywords like "top realtor in Munich" and "best cleaning firm [city]"
- One about hair transplants
- One about the "best funnel software builder"
