How Many Pins Should I Post Each Day? (Brand New Pinterest Account Under 3 Weeks Old)

I just made a new Pinterest page and I’m trying to grow it. I’m thinking about posting around 48 pins each day, but I’m worried it might look like spam and get my account in trouble. Right now, I only share about 4 pins a day. My account is still very new, not even 3 weeks old yet.

I’d be thankful for any advice.

This gets asked a lot, so try using the search bar first next time.

If your account is brand new, posting 52 pins a day is way too much. You could get flagged as spam very fast. Even for older accounts, I don’t think sharing that many every day is a good idea.

If you just started, try posting about 2 to 5 pins each day. After about 8 days, you can slowly raise it to 6 or a little more.

I agree with this.

And you already know the answer. Just go slow and add more little by little, like people always say.

Posting 50 a day seems like a lot. I’d start slower—maybe 4 or 5 a day for a week, then try 9 or 10, and see what happens.

I agree with what was said above.

Also, honestly, with how Pinterest keeps changing, I wouldn’t post 50 pins a day unless your account is already doing really big numbers—like at least 4–5 million impressions.

Pinterest is cracking down on spam, so posting that much can put you at risk. I even made a tool to automate Pinterest, so I know what I’m talking about.

Be careful with your posting schedule too—try to keep it varied, use different links, and mix things up.

Finally, I’d say only start posting more pins each day once you see some early results.

If you keep pinning 18–22 pins a day while your account is still new and getting almost no views, Pinterest might see it as unnatural.

That said, there are many ways to succeed. Don’t just follow “gurus.” On Pinterest, almost anything can work. I’ve seen accounts with 4–6 pins a day grow just as fast as ones posting 58–62 pins. Sometimes 1 template works as well as 19–21 templates. A few boards can perform like dozens of boards.

Just think carefully about what you’re doing and why.

Good luck!

Can you break it down and watch closely to see how it happens and why it works?

Since the account is still new, it’s better to start with about 3–6 posts each day so it doesn’t look like spam. Just go slow and steady.
