How do you create thumbnails for your YouTube videos?

Do you make them on your own or pay someone to do it? And do you use AI to create your thumbnails?

I feel like AI can make good thumbnails most of the time. It just has trouble when there are detailed people in the image, but other than that, it works fine.

I use apps like Adobe Express and Canva. They have many ready-made designs, and they help me finish things much faster.

I grab thumbnails from other videos and change them a bit using Canva.
