Yes, one of my posts went viral before. It was a reel with popular sound and a message many people could relate to. The timing, hashtags, and people reacting to it helped a lot. In about 45–50 hours, the views and shares grew very fast. It also helped me gain more followers and reach for many weeks after.

My posts blow up almost every day, and keeping people watching is the most important thing right now.


When people stay watching for a long time, the app shares the video a lot. Things like hashtags and likes don’t matter as much as before. For example, one video I posted recently has about 6.1 million views but only around 102k likes, which is under 2%. But people watched for about 59 seconds on average, so it did really well.

I think it’s mostly about popular reels and a bit of luck. I’ve gone viral a few times already.
