Hello there,
I recently received an aged eBay account from a relative of mine. The account has a history of approximately 650 sales between 2008 and 2010 but has remained inactive ever since. As a new seller, I understand that eBay may hold funds for a certain period after a sale. Unfortunately, I don't have the financial resources to fulfill orders without immediate access to the funds.
Given the account's previous sales history, do you think I should be in good standing with eBay, or is the account simply too old to be relevant? I'm really seeking guidance on what to expect, and I prefer not to contact eBay directly. Should I consider creating a store or taking any other measures to reduce potential issues?
Please note that this is a dropshipping store. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
