Hey MMO,

I’ve been hanging around here for a long time. I read a lot of journey posts. Some make me excited. Some make me nervous. Then it hit me… if I don’t start, I’ll just keep reading forever. So I’m finally jumping in.

About Me
I’m not a marketing pro. I’m not famous online. I’m just a normal person who wasted money on dropshipping, affiliate stuff, and a couple of “easy money” ideas that didn’t work at all. When I found OFM, it felt different. It’s selling, mindset, and a bit of madness all mixed together. Weirdly, that made sense to me.

I don’t have a team. I don’t really know what I’m doing yet. But I do have AI on my side. ChatGPT, MidJourney, and a strong need to not mess this up completely.

Why AI?
Because it saves time. And yeah, because it’s actually fun to use.

ChatGPT helps me write messages that don’t sound like a robot wrote them.
MidJourney and Stable Diffusion make promo stuff while I’m still looking for models.
AI also helps me think up captions, TikTok ideas, and… okay, some really weird flirting attempts.

It’s a little weird, but kind of awesome — like having a cofounder who never sleeps, never complains, and sometimes says nonsense.

Right Now
Models signed: 1 (still tiny!)
Budget: ~$620 (what I can spare this month)
Platforms: Reddit, TikTok, Instagram — starting totally from zero
Time: 5–7 hours/day (mostly nights, because daytime = “responsible adult mode”)

Goals
Short-term: get my first proper model in about 3 weeks
Medium-term: $1,100/month
Long-term: $5,500/month, small team, and a system that doesn’t drive me crazy

Game Plan
Outreach – 25–35 DMs/day. AI makes me sound more human and a little charming
Content – mix of real posts + AI-made safe promos to keep socials moving
Traffic – Reddit first, TikTok next. Ads only if they make sense
Money – I handle chatting. AI speeds up follow-ups. Maybe hire humans later

Why I’m Sharing
Mostly for accountability. But also, maybe my mistakes help someone else… or at least make them feel better when they mess up too.

Next step: start reaching out today. Coffee’s brewed. AI’s ready. Ego… mostly still intact.

Let’s see if stubbornness + AI can actually work.

Good luck! Around $610 can be a solid plan for one month. Here are a few ideas that fit that amount:

You could use ads on Instagram or Facebook to find new creators who want to join your team. Many people are just starting out and need help with sharing and growing their pages. Showing ads in less popular areas can help save money.

Sending lots of polite messages on Instagram can also help you find people faster. This works best when the messages are clear and sent to the right people.

You can use simple automation tools to plan posts ahead of time and share them on many social apps. This can make your work easier and save time.

A strong mix could be Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, X, and TikTok. Short videos usually bring the most people, so it helps to watch what videos and songs are popular right now.

Apps where people meet can also bring in visitors who are already interested.

With your budget, try each idea for about five weeks so you can see what works best and track your results.

If it’s hard to find the right person to work with, you could switch to using AI creators instead. Working with people can be tricky if they don’t understand how things work.

Go step by step and don’t stress. You’ll learn a lot by doing it every day, fixing small problems, and staying consistent. Keep following along and good luck!

This plan is put together really well. I’m excited to see you do great.

I’m watching this and cheering you on! My helper team (an AI buddy and my cat 😄) and I believe in you!

This helps a lot—thanks so much! Using Meta ads for new models sounds really smart, so I’m going to try that. I haven’t used N9N yet, but it sounds like it could save me tons of time. And using dating apps to bring in people? I never would’ve thought of that.

Thanks for sharing the plan. I’ll keep working hard and see what works best.

Thanks a bunch, I really value that. The plan seems simple on paper, but I usually mess up when putting it into action. Sharing this journey is my way of staying responsible, so hopefully I can actually follow through this time.

Haha, that’s awesome! An AI helper and a cat sound like a great team. Thanks so much for cheering me on. Knowing others are watching helps me stay excited to keep going, even when things get really hard.

Good luck! Can’t wait to see how this turns out.

Thanks! I really appreciate the support. I’m excited—and a bit nervous—about how this will go. I’ll keep sharing updates so it’s worth following.

Day 1–2 Update: Reaching Out, AI Fails, and Small Wins

Hi everyone,

Here’s a quick update from the first couple of days. It’s been a mix of little wins, some mistakes, and a lot of “wow, this is harder than I thought” moments.

Reaching Out

  • Day 1: Messaged about 24 people on IG and Twitter. Got 3 replies — 1 good, 2 said no.
  • Day 2: Sent 31 more messages. 4 replies — 2 looked promising, 2 didn’t respond.

It’s a slow start, but at least we’re getting some movement.

AI Fails

  • Tried using ChatGPT for flirty replies… one of them sounded super stiff and robotic. Sent it anyway — got ignored.
  • Made a promo picture with MidJourney — let’s just say it’s not going online anytime soon.

Small Wins

  • Got a call set up with one aspiring model tomorrow — first real lead!
  • AI actually helped me think of some decent TikTok and Reddit captions, which was a relief.

Lessons Learned

  • Always check AI stuff before sending it to real people. Robots aren’t as smooth as I hoped.
  • Being consistent is better than being perfect. Sending 49 messages over two days works better than overthinking each one.
  • Patience matters. Lots of people ignore messages, and that’s normal — just part of the process.

That’s all for now. Day 3 will focus on improving outreach, maybe trying a tiny IG ad, and trying not to embarrass myself with AI replies.

Thanks to everyone following along — tips, tricks, or just sharing the struggle are all welcome!
