Why did I get banned so quickly? 🤔

I manage an OF creator who posts bold clips on Instagram to get attention fast and bring people over to subscribe. I know it goes against the rules, so getting banned sometimes is expected. I usually rotate fresh accounts, and even 6–9 days is enough to get some subscribers.

To avoid accounts being connected, I do a few things:

Brand new username, and no real name in the bio

Use Nomixcloner to run a copied Instagram app

Use fresh mobile data

But the last account still got banned after about 45 hours with a message saying “fake account.”

The profile was purchased, so it may have been bot-made before I got it.

Is there another weak point I might be missing?

That could explain it.

The account may have already looked suspicious before you even used it. For example, if it was logged in from a different country or far away place before, that can make it look strange.

Using new mobile data can help, but changing it too often or getting IPs that many spam accounts already used can also cause problems. It really depends on what you mean by “new” data.

Also, if the account does very little at first and then suddenly starts posting a lot, Instagram may see that as risky. Warming the account up slowly can matter.

There could be other reasons too, but these are the first things that come to mind.

The risky part is the old account’s past activity, so it’s usually better to make and slowly grow your own new accounts instead of using ones made by others.

It could be that your account’s internet address is tied to ones that got blocked. You can try using a VPN to get a different IP so it looks new.

Because you bought ready-made accounts, Instagram may have already marked them before you got them. It’s a good idea to ask the seller if the accounts were high quality. Another problem could be the device setup you use for logging in. Instagram might think all the accounts are being used from one device. That’s only my guess, but you could try an anti-detect browser like Multilogin, GoLogin, Hidemyacc, or AdsPower. From what I’ve heard, the prices are almost the same. Also, check if your proxy is good. It may not be the main reason, but it’s still worth checking.

Was it only one account, or did you make a few of them?

It could be happening because the system notices strange activity or sees your device acting differently. You may want to use a more natural-looking device setup and change the type of content and activity you do. Using different payment options once in a while might also help.

Thanks for explaining your setup. It looks like you already have most of the important parts covered really well.

Does anyone know a trustworthy place to buy good social media accounts? My experience with sellers has been really mixed so far, and I just want someone dependable. I’m not looking for massive pages, maybe around 4k–9k followers. Preferably accounts with a model or lifestyle audience already there, so it matches well for OF promo.

Sometimes platforms connect accounts using device info and network activity. If an account has problems, it’s usually better to follow the platform rules, secure your device, and keep each account managed properly to avoid future issues.

Sometimes accounts get restricted quickly because platforms look at things like past activity, device info, and behavior patterns. Accounts that grow naturally and follow the rules usually have a better chance of lasting longer.
