Starting a brand-new Pinterest account is not easy anymore. There are more rules now, and accounts can get blocked fast. If you want Pinterest to trust your account and let it grow, you need to take it slow at the start.

In this post, I’d like to hear what people are doing in 2026 to safely warm up new Pinterest accounts.

Do you wait a few days before posting a lot? How often do you like, save, or follow other accounts? Do you use any tools or smart tricks that help grow faster without getting in trouble?

If you have a warmup plan that works well, please share what you do!

At the start, I don’t post anything for the first couple of days. On days two and three, I only like and save pins from other people.

After that, I begin sharing about 2 to 4 pins each day. Then I slowly add more over time.

When your Pinterest account is brand new, don’t use outside auto tools like Tailwind or Pin Generator yet.

If you want to plan posts ahead, you can save your pins as a CSV file from those tools and then upload them using Pinterest’s own pin scheduler instead. This is a safer way to post while your account is still new.
