I've been communicating with eBay representatives every day for the past eight days, and I'm starting to get frustrated. It doesn't seem like it's going to help me, to be honest.
I've been using Rushcard for about eight years, and I'm very satisfied with it. However, now everyone thinks it's a fraudulent card, and eBay puts accounts on a permanent 30-day hold for using it. My money was held for two years because I wasn't willing to provide eBay with a bank account. Recently, I needed money urgently and attempted to add around four digital banks, but none of them worked. I had high hopes for Chime, but after days of trying, it kept giving me errors.
Next, I tried adding a TDAmeritrade brokerage account. I have the routing number, paper checks, physical locations, and everything required. However, they never asked me to verify the micro deposits. Some representatives said I would receive an email for verification, while others claimed I was already verified. Today, one representative said that account just won't work, even though it's added and seems to be functioning. Nevertheless, I'm still on a 30-day hold, so I haven't seen any progress.
Perhaps eBay doesn't trust my account at the moment because my sales have been weak since COVID. I occasionally have instances where I list items worth a few thousand dollars and they sell, but lately, I've been selling items worth $10 every two weeks. I just listed another $3,000 worth of items in the past two days, so maybe that raised some red flags. All the items I sell are low-risk, as they are used parts that I list personly and provide detailed pictures for.
So, what should I do? I can't keep listing $10,000 worth of items and waiting for 30 days. It seems like my only option is to endure the current situation until I sell more and then try the entire process again, even if it means facing similar difficulties.
