MMO OJ Why do so many people scam on Fiverr?

I just started selling on Fiverr. Every time I post a new gig, I get about 6-11 messages in 10 minutes.
Some people ask if the service is still available, and others send a picture saying they bought my gig and want me to scan a QR code to learn more.


I knew these were low-level scams, so I ignored them at first. I reported and blocked them.
Last night, another scammer messaged me saying he wanted to buy my service and sent a picture of a payment page asking for my email. I gave it to him out of curiosity.
A few minutes later, he said the payment was done and told me to check my email. I got an email from Fiverr saying I had a new order, but when I checked my Fiverr dashboard, there was no order.
He asked me to accept the order. I didn’t want to waste time, so I blocked him too.


But I still don’t get how he could actually get money from me.

There’s probably another way to earn money, I think.

These are CPA marketing tricks, which have been used on Fiverr for a long time by CPA marketers.

I still don’t get why they use email to create fake orders. What comes next? What are they trying to do? From what I’ve seen, their account gets blocked in about two days.
